Production & Delivery for Preorders for first 200+ books:

• Manufacturing Process: Once I have enough market interest, I will launch the pre-order payment gateway (then you can see the “total pre-orders” value on my profile and this website’s home page).
  • Update to above point: Sufficient market interest has been obtained (roughly 300 followers on my account), therefore, the payment gateway has been activated — I’m taking preorders now!)
• I am self-publishing for many reasons like getting lowest possible price; so, I tied up directly with a printing press (book publishers outsource to them). The mass production takes just 7 working days i.e. 8 days.
• Once I get approximately 220 pre-orders, I will order the printing of 1000 books (this is my plan at present).

• For the first books from the first 1000 books printed, I’ll handle shipping instead of tying up with a logistics provider…
• Once your book is ready, I’ll pack it and send it to your previously provided address via India post.
• It depends on where you are:
  • Near Trivandrum: If we can’t figure out a better delivery method for you, I’ll email (and phone-message, if required) your India post tracking ID; intra-city delivery takes around 1 day. Most buyers of the first books are expected from the city; the rates for intra-city India Post are low ~ under 100 Rupees… So, I guess you can expect free delivery.
  • Far from Trivandrum: I’ll let you know delivery cost after enquiring with India Post – I will not be able to afford shipping, so I’ll send you a 2nd payment link just for shipping at your provided email address (after a while of ordering, please search for sender: anandkumar.iitm@gmail.com if you happen to miss my email).
• In case of any delivery issue, report the issue by email if unsatisfied with Indiapost tracking ID system response.

Delivery Mode for Orders for all subsequent books

• For the later non-pre-order / direct purchase phase of operations, I’ll tie up with a shipping provider that I’ll decide upon later (I’m thinking, Indiapost)…
  • When that decision is taken, this section will be updated.
• The shipping charge is automatically calculated based on your address and charged during order placement.
• Most shipping companies dispatch orders on Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
• Most shipping companies ship orders placed after 4.00 PM on next working day
• In case of any delivery issue, report the issue by email if unsatisfied with tracking ID system response.
